Signpost to Ai's Hometown
In *Oshi no Ko*, the story begins in a peaceful rural town. On the roadside of the heroine Ai Hoshino's hometown, there stands a blue signboard displaying the town's name. In the scene, the main characters pass by in a car against a backdrop of green mountains and fields, seemingly in springtime. This sign marks the entrance to the town where Ai spent her childhood and returns to later. The sign itself is a key visual clue.
