In *Joshiraku* episode 8, on a hot summer day, the rakugo girls enter a long-established soba restaurant through a navy blue noren curtain with the word 'Soba'. Inside, the sound of cutting buckwheat noodles is heard as they sit at wooden tables and order cold soba, with one exclaiming 'This is what summer is all about!'
