Oden Stall in the Park
In *K-On!!*, on a winter night, five girls gather around a small stall in a corner of the park. White puffs of breath rise in the lantern light. They hold steaming paper bowls filled with fish cakes, radish, and other oden items, laughter and chatter mingling. Yui Hirasawa sticks out her tongue after a scalding sip; Azusa Nakano cautiously bites into tofu; Mio Akiyama frowns from the heat; Ritsu Tainaka puffs her cheeks to cool the broth; Tsumugi Kotobuki elegantly picks a chikuwa. The camera lingers on the steam rising from the stall and the red paper lanterns swaying. In the distance, a train rumbles by. An ordinary winter night made warm by their company.
