Ibusuki Port Waiting Room
In *Goodnight Punpun*, the protagonist Punpun once sat alone on a bench in a port waiting room, gazing through the glass window at the distant sea and the moored ferry, an atmosphere of oppression and loneliness. A yellowish fluorescent lamp hangs from the ceiling, the old timetable on the wall is partially faded, and dust gathers in the cracks between floor tiles.
