Seaside Station Square
In *Suzume*, Suzume and Souta (who has been turned into a chair) arrive at a small train station by the sea. In the station square, vending machines and a few benches stand quietly, with the endless blue sea visible in the distance. The girl steps off the platform with her suitcase, her shadow stretching long in the evening sun.
