In "Suzume", Suzume and the chair-formed Sōta arrive at a desolate seaside, with rocky reefs and waves crashing on the shore. They search for the "after door" and finally find a gray vertical door frame at the top of a steep staircase, surrounded by swaying wild grass and the roar of the waves.
