Late-night convenience store encounter
In *Call of the Night*, Kou Yamori follows Nazuna Nanakusa for the first time into the night streets. Under the bright lights of a large convenience store near the station, Nazuna skillfully picks up a pack of cigarettes from the shelf while Kou stands beside her with a puzzled look. Their reflections are visible on the glass facade, and the automatic door opens and closes with the classic convenience store chime.
