Kawai Bridge
In *The Tatami Time Machine Blues*, the protagonists frequently cross this bridge over the river as they travel back in time. The bridge is narrow with low metal railings on both sides. One end leads to university grounds, the other to a bustling shopping street. In summer, the riverbanks are lined with greenery, and ducks can sometimes be seen in the water.
