Central Arcade Shopping Street
In *The Girl I See* (Mieruko-chan), the protagonist Miko Yotsuya walks home alone through a shopping street with an arched canopy. Shops line both sides, but Miko can see eerie figures invisible to others—a black silhouette crouching on the steps, a white spirit tilting its head beside a utility pole. She forces herself to stay calm in the sunlight, hurrying through this seemingly ordinary yet hidden-horror street.
