In Bocchi the Rock!, when the band Kessoku goes on a seaside trip, they visit a shrine built on a hillside. Hitori Gotō stops before the vermilion torii gate and looks up the long stone steps lined with lanterns. She throws a coin into the offering box, closes her eyes, and silently prays, 'Let my guitar skills improve,' but her intense focus makes her produce strange noises. The camera captures her nervous yet earnest expression from the side.
