Reunion at the brick warehouse
In Summer Time Rendering, the protagonist Shinpei meets the mysterious girl Ushio again in front of a red brick warehouse on the island. The warehouse stands right by the coast, with the blue sea and moored fishing boats in the background. The setting sun dyes the red bricks dark crimson as their conversation unfolds, filled with nostalgia and unease.
