In Front of the Aquarium
In *Aquatope of White Sand*, episode 1, Kukuru Misakino rides her bicycle through a wooded path and arrives at a white building facing the sea. She stops, looks up at the whale logo on the roof, her face full of anticipation and nostalgia. This is the entrance to "Aquatope Gangura," the aquarium left by her grandmother. Sunlight spills over the steps as the sound of waves drifts from the shore.
