In *Binchotan*, at the opening of the first episode, the protagonist Binchotan, wearing a bamboo hat and simple clothes, walks along a country path carrying a bamboo basket. She pauses in front of a traditional building with white walls and black tiles, a wooden signboard standing by the entrance, gazes at it curiously for a while, then continues on her way.
