In *Digimon Adventure*, when Taichi and the others return from the Digital World to the real world, they appear next to an extremely busy intersection, with several large commercial buildings behind them and a giant electronic screen at the crossing. Surrounded by a sea of people, they are shocked to find themselves back in their own world, wearing real-world clothes.
