Café on the street corner
In *A Whisker Away*, after transforming into a cat, the protagonist Miyo often frequents a street lined with roadside trees. At the corner stands a café with cream-colored walls and white lace curtains on its windows. Miyo once crouched on the step at the entrance, looking up at a wind chime hanging inside, just as Hinode came out holding his school bag, briefly locking eyes with her (as a cat).
