Farewell at the school gate
In the final episode of *Higehiro*, Yoshida accompanies Sayu back to her school. Sayu walks ahead in her uniform, while Yoshida stops at a distance, watching her approach the school gate. The gate is a typical Japanese public high school style, with an arched entrance and pillars, alongside a school nameplate. It is dusk, with the setting sun slanting, casting long shadows of the two.
