Encounter on the abandoned school gym balcony
In *Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!*, on his first day after transferring, male protagonist Yuuta Togashi visits an abandoned school to retrieve a forgotten textbook. Climbing to the second-floor balcony of the gymnasium, he accidentally discovers a black-haired girl wearing an eyepatch and holding a homemade magic wand, chanting the incantation of the "Wicked Eye" against the setting sun. The rusty iron railings of the balcony frame a background of distant mountains and the twilight sky.
