West End of Uji Bridge
In *Sound! Euphonium 3*, early in the first episode, protagonist Kumiko Oumae, carrying her instrument, appears at the west end of an old wooden bridge spanning a wide river. The camera slowly tracks from a stone pillar at the bridgehead; in the distance, the river glistens, and beyond it, rolling hills and low-rise buildings are clearly visible in the morning light. Kumiko pauses and gazes at the swift current below, lost in thought.
