Seaside View from the Temple Approach
In *A Letter to Momo*, the protagonist Momo moves to this island and often walks alone up the stone steps of an old temple. Dense trees line the pathway, and through the foliage she glimpses the sparkling inland sea. One summer afternoon, she stands on the small platform before the temple gate, gazing at fishing boats in the distant harbor, feeling both peace and uncertainty about her new life.
