Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Steps
In "Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl", Sakuta and Shoko visit a shrine together. The scene shows a long stone staircase ascending, flanked by ginkgo trees turning golden in autumn. A vermillion two-story gate stands at the top of the stairs, with a purification fountain and lanterns along the approach. Worshippers in kimono add to the solemn atmosphere.
