Old Stone Bridge
In *The Electric Directory of the 20th Century*, Momokawa and Kikuo met on an old stone bridge spanning a wide river. The bridge is paved with stone slabs, flanked by low stone railings, with distant mountains and fields in the background. Momokawa, dressed in Taisho-era kimono, holds the mysterious electric directory and discusses the future of electricity with Kikuo. At dusk, the setting sun stretches the bridge's shadow, and the river shimmers.
