Narrow alley
In *Island and One Cat*, the protagonist walks along a narrow alley lined with old wooden houses. The alley is so tight that only two people can pass side by side; the walls are weathered and covered with ivy in places. Occasionally, a cat's meow is heard, and the sea breeze blows from the end of the alley, carrying a faint salty scent.
