Statue Running Toward Tomorrow
In *Run with the Wind*, during the final leg of the Hakone Ekiden relay race, the Kansei University track team runs along a riverside park path. Beside them stands a bronze statue of a runner, with the words “Asu e Hashiru” (Running Toward Tomorrow) engraved on its base. This is an inspiring sight just before their final push.
