Megane-bashi Tram Stop
In "From the Colorful World of Tomorrow", the main characters step off a streetcar onto a platform right beside a gently flowing river. Spanning the river is an ancient stone double-arch bridge, its surface covered with moss, the arch and railing lines soft and graceful. In the distance, low-lying houses and sloping streets can be seen on the opposite bank, conveying a quiet late-summer to early-autumn atmosphere.
