The path to school in front of the gate
In *Tsurezure Biyori*, the main characters walk up and down a gently sloping concrete road to school every day. The road is lined with cherry blossom trees, and petals fall in spring. The school gate is a typical old-style iron gate with a school nameplate on the pillar. Mountains can be seen in the distance, and clouds often drift across the sky. This is one of the most everyday scenes in the story.
