Okabe Fruit Store
In *Steins;Gate: Load Region of Déjà Vu*, the fruit shop 'Okabe Fruit Store' is the family business run by the protagonist Rintaro Okabe. It sits on a corner of a residential street, with a distinctive three-tiered red sign. The storefront displays seasonal fruits and fresh vegetables—watermelons and peaches in summer, tangerines and apples in winter. Kurisu Makise, often wearing her white lab coat, waits for Okabe under the eaves, where they discuss time-leap theories. The shopkeeper's voice (Okabe's father) echoes from inside, and streetlights illuminate the store at night, blending everyday life with science fiction.
