Scene near the monument
In *Summer Time Rendering*, after returning to his hometown of Hitogashima Island from Tokyo, protagonist Shinpei Ajiro pauses in front of a monument near the harbor. The monument stands on a stone path, surrounded by benches, with a view of a small fishing harbor and the sea under the setting sun. Shinpei gazes at the inscription, recalling memories of Ushio.
