Alley near Kishimoto Store
In *Summer Time Rendering*, the protagonist Shinpei often passes through a narrow alley when walking from the port to his family's diner. On one side of the alley is a general store with an old sign, with boxes of goods and a bicycle in front. The ground is paved with stone slabs, and at the corner there are several steps leading deeper into the residential area. In the evening, sunlight slants in from the entrance, casting long shadows. This is also one of the spots where Shinpei and Ushio first met and later pass by each other several times.
