Hitogashima Police Box
In *Summer Time Rendering*, the first thing protagonist Shinpei sees after arriving on Hitogashima by ferry is a small police box with white walls and blue windows. As he steps off the boat, a uniformed police officer approaches him – that officer is none other than Ushio, the heroine, who works here and becomes the key figure guiding him into the story.
