South of Saigawa Bridge
In the opening sequence of *Hanasaku Iroha*, morning sunlight sparkles on the wide river as the main character and her friends walk across the bridge's pedestrian path, chatting cheerfully with school bags on their backs. The far end leads to their school, with trees lining the riverbanks and green mountains visible in the distance. In episode 8, they also stop here after school, gazing at the water while talking about their dreams.
