Underground shopping arcade
In *I Want to Eat Your Pancreas*, Haruki Shiga and Sakura Yamauchi walk together through an underground passage connecting several shopping malls. Above them is a glass ceiling through which sunlight filters, with shops lining both sides and automatic walkways stretching ahead. Here they discuss life and death, creating an atmosphere both warm and bittersweet.
