Bokke Mud Volcano
In *Golden Kamuy*, Sugimoto and Asirpa, in their search for the gold, arrive at a peculiar location where the ground is uplifted and mud boils and churns. The grayish mud constantly bubbles, steam rises, and the surroundings are filled with yellowed grass and sparse trees. This is known as a 'mud volcano,' a natural phenomenon where the protagonists face a perilous encounter.
