Bookstore encounter
In "Teasing Master Takagi-san", Nishikata and Takagi often visit the local bookstore after school. In episode 5, they wander between the shelves inside the store. Takagi picks up a manga volume, gently taps Nishikata's back with the spine, then hides behind another shelf. When Nishikata turns around, he can't find her; at the end of the shelf, Takagi peeks out with a sly grin. The warm yellow light shines on the stacked magazines and manga, and the air smells of paper and printer ink.

- 这家书店的原型是位于香川县丸龟市的「ブックスコトブキ」（Books Kotobuki），是一家真实存在的独立书店。
- 动画中书店的内景参考了店铺实拍，书架布局和收银台位置基本一致。
- 本场景出现在第5话“练习”中，高木在此处捉弄西片的方式在漫画版中也有类似情节。
