View from Tonosho Port into the island town
In *Teasing Master Takagi-san*, this is the port where Nishikata and Takagi arrive by ferry. Looking from the pier into the town, a gently sloping road stretches ahead, lined with low-rise shops and houses. Here, Takagi often teases Nishikata—for instance, suddenly pointing and saying "Look over there," only to sneak closer while he's distracted. The sea breeze carries the scent of the tide, and the streets look peaceful and warm under the afternoon sun.
