Airport station platform departure
In *A Place Further Than the Universe*, at the end of the final episode, the main characters part ways here after returning from Antarctica. Mari runs across the platform chasing after Shirase, who is about to board the train. They shout and wave at each other as the train slowly departs. The platform awning, stationary train, and station signs evoke youth and bittersweet farewell.
