Bench at Okuto Station
In the first episode of *A Place Further Than the Universe*, on a winter morning at a small rural station. A twin-tailed girl (Shirase Kobuchizawa) sits on a bench in front of the station, looking at her phone, as if waiting for something. Then another girl with short hair (Mari Tamaki) runs towards the station, and the two meet. The station sign reads "Okuto", with snow-covered mountains and sparse houses in the background.
