In *Sound! Euphonium: The Movie – Our Promise: A Brand New Day*, on the edge of the playground of Kitauji High School, there is a large tree with dense foliage. Under the afternoon sun, members of the concert band often gather in the shade, either practicing instruments or chatting leisurely. On the bench beneath the tree, Kumiko and Reina are sometimes seen sitting side by side, discussing performances and their future.
