Prayer at Kaji Shrine
In 'Yama no Susume: Omoide no Present', the mountaineering girls pause at the approach to an old shrine. They rest briefly before the vermilion torii gate, then enter the shrine precincts, purify their hands at the chozuya, and pray before the main hall. The area is surrounded by thick woods, with stone lanterns and komainu standing on both sides, creating a serene atmosphere.
