Chinese restaurant and dumplings
In *Solitary Gourmet*, protagonist Goro Inogashira enters a small Chinese restaurant on a street corner. The red signboard and noren curtain are striking. Inside, it's cramped but lively, with a few tables and walls covered in menus. He orders pan-fried and boiled dumplings, dipping them in vinegar and soy sauce, eating one after another with a satisfied expression. Outside, ordinary residential scenery passes by.
