Meeting on the Overpass
In *Saishū Heiki Kanojo*, there is a pedestrian bridge that spans over a railway line. The tracks stretch out towards distant mountains. The bridge is narrow, allowing only two people to walk side by side. The male protagonist Shuji and the female protagonist Chise often meet on this bridge. On one occasion, Shuji waits for Chise, who arrives out of breath, and they talk against the backdrop of a sunset and distant mountains.
