Aioi Shrine's red ropes
In The Eccentric Family 2, within the grounds of the shrine where the tanuki family lives, there is a small shrine dedicated to the god of matchmaking. The protagonist Yasaburo and his brothers often discuss important matters or tie red ropes of fate here, surrounded by red cords hung for prayers.
