Stone Steps of Kincho Shrine
In *The Eccentric Family 2*, Yasaburo and Benten once stood for a conversation at dusk on the stone steps of an old shrine. The steps are covered with moss, flanked by weathered stone lanterns, and the vermilion of the torii gate is peeling. The camera looks up from the bottom, silhouetting the characters against the gate. This shrine appears as a key gathering place for the tanuki clan throughout the series.
