Exterior of the Jinnouchi family home
In *Summer Wars*, the Jinnouchi family's vast ancestral home sits in a mountainous countryside. The building is a classic Japanese mansion with heavy tiled roofs, wooden verandas, and a spacious garden. In the film, protagonist Kenji Koiso is dragged by Natsuki through the front gate to attend a family gathering. Inside, the family connects to the virtual world OZ via a giant screen in the main hall, working together to fend off a crisis. From the street view, you can see carved window lattices and a stone lantern at the entrance, with a paved slope leading to the main door.
