Sake barrels lined up on the approach
In *Witch Craft Works*, Episode 5, the main characters visit a large shrine dedicated to a deity. Before entering the main hall, they walk along a wide approach lined with huge sake barrels wrapped in straw ropes and topped with straw roofs. These barrels are offerings to the gods, creating a very traditional shrine atmosphere.
