Prototype of the general store
In ISLAND, the protagonist Setsuna Miroku arrives on the island and climbs a seaside slope to reach a white two-story building. The ground floor is a general store, with a sign reading 'Oohara's Shop' above the door, and a vending machine and bench placed outside. Surrounded by tropical vegetation, the coastline can be seen in the distance. This store is where characters buy daily necessities and where several key plot points unfold.
