Shohoku High School gate and slope
In *Slam Dunk*, Shohoku High School has a long slope in front of its gate, lined with cherry trees. Hanamichi Sakuragi often practices his jump shots here, and Kaede Rukawa rides his bicycle to and from school. Above the gate hangs the school sign reading 'Shohoku High School', and inside leads to the gymnasium and classroom buildings.
