East slope of North High
In The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (2009), SOS Brigade members often leave from the east gate of North High School after school. This is an uphill path with steps and hedges, where Kyon was once stopped by Haruhi to discuss summer vacation plans. In the distance, you can see the side of the school building and the clock tower.
