In *Tanaka-kun is Always Listless*, after school Tanaka and Ohta walk out of the station square of a ground-level train station. Tanaka carries his backpack, dragging his feet with a sleepy expression, while trams and pedestrians pass by. The station is a low building with a curved canopy, a small square in front with a few bicycles parked. Sunlight filters through the trees, casting dappled shadows, creating a relaxing afternoon atmosphere.
