North side of the aqueduct bridge
In *Tanaka-kun is Always Listless*, during the summer vacation in episode 8, Tanaka, Ohta, and friends walk to the shopping district. They cross an old stone bridge spanning a river. The bridge is narrow, only for pedestrians and bicycles, with metal railings on both sides. Tanaka leans lazily against the railing on the north side, staring at the water and mumbling, “It’s so hot… I don’t want to move…” Cicadas chirp all around, and summer sunlight filters through the trees, creating dappled shadows.
