Wishing at the Mirror Pond
In *Root Letter*, the protagonist and companions discover a small, mirror-like pond behind an ancient shrine deep in the woods. The water reflects the sky and surrounding greenery. Following local legend, characters place paper slips into the pond and observe whether they sink or float to divine their fate.
